SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2026
Before applying, ensure you meet the following requirements set by the commission:
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
For DEO (Grade A) in C&AG: Science stream with Mathematics as a subject is mandatory.
2. Age Limit (As of 01-01-2026)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 27 Years
Age Relaxation: * OBC: 3 Years (Up to 30 years)
SC/ST: 5 Years (Up to 32 years)
PwBD: 10–15 Years
How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2026
Follow these steps to complete your registration on the new SSC portal:
OTR (One-Time Registration): Visit ssc.gov.in and complete your OTR if you haven’t already. You will need an active mobile number and email ID.
Login: Use your Registration Number and Password to log in.
Find CHSL 2026: Under the “Latest Notifications” tab, click on “Apply” for the CHSL Exam 2026.
Fill Application: Enter your exam center preferences and educational details.
Upload Documents: Upload a live photograph (using a webcam or mobile camera) and a scanned signature (10-20 KB).
