Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026, candidates must fulfill the following:
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
Note: Certain posts like Executive Officer require an ‘O’ Level Diploma from NIELIT.
PET Requirement: Candidates must have appeared in the UPSSSC PET 2025. Selection for the Mains exam is based on the PET 2025 score normalization.
Age Limit (as of July 1, 2026):
Minimum Age: 18 or 21 Years (Post-dependent)
Maximum Age: 40 Years
Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC and other categories receive age relaxation as per UP government rules.

The application fee for all categories is kept minimal for the initial registration:

Note: Candidates shortlisted for the Mains exam will be required to pay an additional examination fee later.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection will be based strictly on the performance in the Mains Written Examination. There is no interview for these posts.

Negative Marking:0.25 (1/4th) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
