Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the Intermediate (10+2) examination from a recognized board.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and possess a valid scorecard.
2. Age Limit (As of July 1, 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
- Relaxation: Age relaxation will be provided to SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories as per UP Government rules.

Selection Process
The selection is done through a rigorous five-stage process:
- Shortlisting: Based on the UPSSSC PET 2025 normalized score.
- Mains Written Exam: Objective-type test covering Hindi, General Knowledge, and UP-specific GK.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running (4.8 km in 25 mins for males; 2.4 km in 14 mins for females).
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Checking height and chest standards.
- Medical Examination & Document Verification: Final fitness and certificate check.
